All Financial Requests over $500 must be
reviewed by a committee.
Please allow 72 business
hours for ALL requests to be handled.
Please let your family partner know when a
request has been made and to keep an eye out for an email
from us;
we may need a quick response.
Rent and utility requests will first be submitted to a partner agency by FFC staff. If not approved by a partner agency, FFC will consider the request.

Affordable housing is at an all-time low in Charlotte, and therefore hard to find. These resources are meant to be a guide for families as they search for options.
Step 1: Email FFC staff specific housing needs (size/budget) and all documents listed to the right.

Step 5: If your family partner is in a dire financial situation and would like to apply for Inlivian (Subsidized Housing), we can submit an application for them upon request. Note: the waitlist is years long.

Proof of income
(most recent pay stubs)
Social Security Cards
for all household members
Credit
score
Employment
history (list for last 6mths to a year)
Rental history
(list evictions in past 10 years, and why)
**We also strongly suggest you work together to complete a budget so they are certain of their ability to afford the rental and all related expenses.
