Making Education An Option

Education is a gateway to financial stability and advancement. However, many of the participants in our Family Success Program are caught in a frustrating catch-22: they need a high school diploma or post-secondary education to secure a higher-paying job, but they can't leave their current position to finish or go back to school.

Through our S.T.E.P.S. program, Families Forward Charlotte covers living expenses for up to 36 months and provides support for graduates of our Family Success Program so they can get their high school diploma or complete their post-secondary education. This enables participants to achieve a higher education level, helping them to qualify for higher income that can sustain their families long-term.
